6. Altin Cipa (Golden Anchor) International Maritime Achievement Award Ceremony took place at Sheraton Hotel Istanbul, with the attendance of Transport, Shipping and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım. 

Offshore Freight Shipping Agency Award 

With its roots go back for more than 25 years, Akmar first step in the maritime industry with the Agency Department. Akmar Shipping Agency provides services for many leading names in the world trade today and accompany them in all Turkish ports and straits. The Agency handles 700-800 vessels per year at all Turkish ports, straits of Dardanelles and Bosphorus and serves with their own offices in most important port cities of Turkey, Istanbul / Marmara, Izmit, Aliaga, Izmir, Mersin, Iskenderun.

Due to successes gained internationally, Akmar Shipping Agency was awarded with Offshore Freight Shipping Agency Award. The award was recieved by Akmar Shipping Agency Deputy Director Bulent Deniz Ozen from South Korean IMO Representative Youngsun.
